100 years ago , the famous Bauhaus, School of art and architecture- was founded. This exhibition at Museum Dr888 demonstrates in what ways the work and ideas of the Dutch De Stijl-artist Theo van Doesburg has influenced te Bauhaus style. The exhibition contains examples of his designs in the field of typography, photography, architecture, applied art and textiles. Additionally, works from a new generation of artists, such as Monika Buch, who emerged from the Bauhaus tradition, as well as paintings and photographs of two young talents keeping the Bauhaus style alive, Roos van Dijk and Jildo-Tim Hof will be on show. 16-11-2019 _ 08-03-2020
